Lindsay Lohan and her husband Bader Shammas have welcomed their baby boy and fans are saying the same thing about their little one’s name.
The Mean Girls star gave birth to her first child in Dubai, where the family currently resides. A source who revealed the incredible news said that the couple is ‘over the moon in love.’
It has been revealed that the pair have named their child Luai, an Arabic name that means ‘protector.’
All fans are saying the same thing about their baby’s name, with one person commenting: “Congratulations!!! I love the name. My son’s name is also Arabic meaning morning star. Sending you blessings.”
Another wrote: “That’s a beautiful name!!”
A third said: “In many cultures, parents often name their children with special meanings and symbols. Choosing a name to represent protection and guardianship may reflect the parents’ expectations and wishes for their child.”
The comment added: “Luai is a unique and meaningful name that imparts positive attributes to a child and wishes him to be strong, guardian and protective of others.
“Wishing Lohan, Bader Shammas and their son Luai all the happiness and joy in their family life.”
The couple’s family and fans were not the only ones excited over the new member of the family.
Oscar-winning actress Jamie Lee Curtis, who played with Lohan in Freaky Friday, took to Instagram and dubbed herself a ‘movie grandmother’ after Luai was born.
“MAGIC MONDAY! My movie daughter just made me a movie grandmother,” she wrote. “Blessings to Lindsay and Bader for the birth of Luai!”
