Christmas time is known as the season of giving gifts but what happens when you receive something from someone inappropriate?

This is the story of a female employee who raised concerns through her account on Reddit. She is so utterly confused and disgusted right now. And that stems from the fact that her boss gifted her something so personal and intimate. And yes, we’re talking about lingerie.

While she admitted to how her boss was super creepy and overly attentive toward her, she tried her best to ignore all such moments as her main goal was to get the job done right, receive her paycheck, and go home.

But now that he’s gifted her something so personal, she’s in a dilemma about what to do next.

Calling it embarrassing and shocking, she’s now contemplating about what to do next. Filing a complaint seems to be logical but she does fear for the worse in respect to her job.

Meanwhile, she did admit to facing him about the situation, just to see what sort of a page he was on with her. And if necessary, she was bound to draw the line as this was just inexcusable.

Her boss answered her in a very bold tone. He claims this was not his fault as it was the assistant who was in charge of making deliveries and ensuring the right gift was assigned to the right individual.

In this case, he justified the act by adding how the present was indeed meant for his wife and not her. Hence, he told her to return it back so the right recipient could get it this time.

This story seemed fishy to her and that’s why she also discussed it with her colleagues who felt it was definitely a poor cover-up for a sad situation. That gift should have never been sent in the first place and therefore, she needs to get to the bottom of this before it really starts to affect her job. What do you think?
