Lisa Marie Presley’s resting place has been revealed after her tragic passing at the age of 54.
The beloved singer-songwriter died at the hospital on Thursday hours after suffering a cardiac arrest and collapsing at her home.
Now, an agent of Lisa’s eldest daughter, Riley Keoughtold, told The Hollywood Reporter that the ‘Lights Out’ hitmaker will be buried at Graceland next to her son Benjamin.
“Lisa Marie’s final resting place will be at Graceland, next to her beloved son Ben,” the agent said.
Benjamin Keough tragically died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his Calabasas home in 2020.
While Lisa Marie had been suffering from “unrelenting grief” since her son’s death, the pair will now be reunited and rest next to each other for eternity.
Currently buried next to each other at Graceland’s Meditation Garden are Benjamin Keough, his grandfather Elvis Presley, great-grandfather Vernon, and great-great-grandmother Minnie Mae.
Lisa Marie previously opened up about her grief over the loss of her son in a heartbreaking and rare essay back in August 2022.
“Obviously, no parent chooses this road, and thankfully not all parents will have to become a victim to it — and I do mean VICTIM here.
“I used to hate that word. Now I know why. I’ve dealt with death, grief and loss since the age of nine years old,” she wrote.
“I’ve had more than anyone’s fair share of it in my lifetime and somehow, I’ve made it this far. But this one, the death of my beautiful, beautiful son? The sweetest and most incredible being that I have ever had the privilege of knowing, who made me feel so honored every single day to be his mother?
“Who was so much like his grandfather on so many levels that he actually scared me? Which made me worry about him even more than I naturally would have? No. Just no… no no no no…”
Our thoughts remain with Lisa Marie’s family and friends during this challenging time.
