A dad from South Carolina has reportedly died after putting lit fireworks across his head, in an attempt to show off.
The incident arose on the Fourth of July when the lit firework exploded in front of loved ones, whom he was trying to impress.
The victim was identified as Allen Ray McGrew who can be seen on camera smoking a cigarette and doing the most funny jig. He was decked from head to toe, wearing the symbolic red, white, and blue colors.
This was accompanied by the Uncle Sam suit, a top hat, and a beard before the horrifying incident in Summerville arose.
It was all humor and fun and games, but not for long as the clip showed him putting the firework on his head that exploded and killed him on the spot.
The 41-year-old HVAC worker put the huge lit firework across his hat and the aftermath was so tragic for many to witness.
His loved ones did not know that he would light the firework and put it on his head, or else they would have stopped him. It all happened in a flash of a few seconds. And therefore he was pronounced dead at the scene.
