Singing sensation Lizzo is making it clear to the world that she was blindsided by all the allegations that stormed in her direction.
The star who recently shared her dramatic weight loss with the world explained that never in a million years did she imagine herself speaking out about a lawsuit where her own teammates would allege harassment accusations.
The celeb got a little emotional during her recent podcast episode, mentioning that some things did take her by surprise in this life and this has to be one of them.
Lizzo opened up about how she gave all those women who came at her a golden opportunity of a lifetime. Still, the manner in which they backstabbed her at the end of it all is hard to imagine, she adds.
Lizzo adds that she needed time to process all that was coming in her direction and therefore stayed hush on the matter. Now that she’s healed, she says she’s ready to face the world and confess everything and how disappointed she was at the allegations.
‘I’ve always wanted the best for those near and dear to me. I don’t know how else to put it!’- she adds.
Lizzo says that moment was her career peak but it was overshadowed by the lawsuit that she says is baseless as hurting anyone is just not a part of her character. ‘I was raised better than that!’- she adds.
