The 35-year-old American rapper, singer, and actress is currently on a tour to promote her fourth studio album called Special. While everything went as planned until now, the Juice hitmaker was forced to cancel her Thursday concert at Montreal’s Bell Centre due to a series of flu-like symptoms.
According to the inspiring performer, she is suffering from a sore throat, headaches, body weakness, and chills. In a video she shared with her fans, she also admitted she felt like crying after feeling even worse when waking up yesterday.
“Hey Montreal, I had a sore throat last night (Wednesday) and a headache. And I went to bed and I woke up this morning (Thursday) and I was worse,” Lizzo said in her video.
“My body is weak and I have chills and my heard hurts. Normally, if it’s just a cold, I’ll show and I will eat, take some medicine and it gets better. But this is getting worse.”
In the clip, the singer could be seen wearing a face mask while covering herself up with a blanket.
“I want to find a date to reschedule, but I just can’t perform tonight (Thursday),” she added before promising her fans to “make it up” for the missing performance.
Later on, TMZ also shared the performer’s tweet in which she claimed she came down with a 102-degree fever during her stay in Canada.
