US President Joe Biden has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 again, just a few days after his initial recovery.
According to local media outlets, the President was seen taking the test on Saturday, just a few days after he logged a negative test, it was revealed on Twitter.
Now, the 79-year-old head of state was seen posting on his social media handle how he is currently suffering from a ‘so called’ rebound case that is perfectly normal and takes place with a few minorities of patients suffering from the virus out there. Sadly, he happens to be one of them.
But Biden’s health officials aren’t raising any alarm yet as they feel he is doing well and not having any major symptoms that would signal danger.
“I have got no symptoms but still, I would be isolating for the safety of all those that are in contact with me and are around me!”- he was seen mentioning in his public tweet recently.
Biden has also reassured his citizens that he is still busy at work and will be back on the road very soon.
The present had first tested for the virus on July 21, and then he tested negative on Tuesday night, right after he took a drug called Paxlovid.
“Biden appears to be among the small percentage of people of Paxlovid recipients who see their symptoms come back or rebound!”- his White House Doctor Kevin O’Connor was seen revealing at a recent press conference.
The country’s commander in chief had reportedly tested positive on an antigen-based test and therefore will be isolated so that he does not serve as a major threat to those in his close vicinity, his physician continued to mention.
