The news comes amid the pair’s second wedding anniversary as many speculations took center stage regarding the pair’s marriage.
The singer listed the date of separation as April 26 of this year and failed to highlight in the filing whether she and the star have any prenup in place. And as per insiders close to the couple, the shocking twist is that there is no prenup in place.
She went on to wave any kind of spousal support and asked the judge to deny Affleck any such support as well.
The pair first sparked serious breakup rumors in May of 2024 when reports regarding them entering therapy for couples took center stage.
While neither member of the couple addressed the news of the separation, social media was bombarded with reports about their troubled marriage.
Moreover, the star was also spotted without his wedding ring, just one week after that. Now, it’s been confirmed how there was always trouble in paradise, and the biggest hint of them all was the selling out of their dream mansion that they had purchased together.
TMZ also shared how Affleck was the first to opt to move out and live in a rental home, another striking point of their separation. The fact that the duo were not pictured for months was another serious indicator of their marriage troubles.
