Renowned celebrity Jennifer Lopez is being blasted by her fans and critics after getting married.
According to local media reports, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez stunned the world yesterday after TMZ reported that the Hollywood couple had secretly tied the knot in Las Vegas.
It is believed that the cat was out of the bag when documents obtained by TMZ revealed that the duo had even obtained a marriage license from Nevada that confirmed them as Husband and Wife. The news was further confirmed by a source that’s relatively close to both individuals too.
The singer took to her social media website to confirm the news while posting an image of her in bed with a big wedding glow across her face. It appeared as if she was on her wedding honeymoon, adding how grateful she was that she waited so long to find her true love again.
The star also changed her famous surname to Affleck recently and that was definitely not something that many people appreciated.
During a recent breakfast-themed talk show in Australia, the hosts spoke about how women don’t need to give up their identity because they were married. Moreover, many other fans began to debate on social media about how this was definitely a shocking decision on Jennifer Lopez’s part, adding that the celeb isn’t setting the right example for so many that look up to her for inspiration.
Lopez revealed intimate details about her wedding ceremony on her website which included a chic and minimalistic theme, not to mention how the celeb took Ben Affleck by surprise by changing into two wedding dresses for the occasion.
Many criticized Lopez because they felt that at times, marriages don’t work out and therefore such decisions should be done with careful thought and planning and not just for the sake of it.
