While some people claim finding love online is an easy affair, others couldn’t disagree more and this next story of a mother is proof of that.
She claims that looking for love online through dating apps has cost her a fortune and now, she’s advising others against the ordeal.
The mother named Rebecca Holloway reportedly lost a good $100,000 to some individual that she calls an absolute fraudster. Adding how she’s not been in the dating game for a while now, this mother claims she really had her hopes up for obvious reasons.
But little did she know about the turmoil that lay ahead of her. It was one of the cruelest scams that she’s come across in a while and she hopes others can learn from her experience to avoid getting in the middle of something like this.
The cruel Tinder scam is also dubbed pig butchering because that’s exactly how this young lady felt at that point in time. She feels that life puts up quite a few opportunities in front of you and it’s up to you what you make of it.
She’s been wanting to date for a while and had just recently gotten divorced. Therefore, you can imagine what her sentiments on this subject may have been. Having so many hopes, she was all set but little did she know about the scam coming forward.
The man introduced himself as a French entrepreneur and he’s been doing something similar to so many other women in this world.
Moreover, the fact that she’s the third victim to come forward this year with such complaints has the Secret Service Team probing the incident for obvious reasons.
This individual kept on telling her to invest in cryptocurrencies that were reportedly major scams. She did it but it was in vain because what she got in return was nothing but sheer disappointment and loss of $100k and a broken heart as he deserted her after running away with the funds.
