The beloved pet dog of a loyal police officer was given the privilege of attending his slain owner’s funeral.
It was a tragic and tear-jerking moment for many who just couldn’t come to terms with the reality of the situation as the officer had been gunned down while on her duty in Queensland.
Thousands of mourners were seen joining in on the public memorial service that was held for the slain officer named Rach McCrow.
But it was just so gut-wrenching to see the dog walk silently behind the coffin after the service was over.
The dog was a blue heeler and he lived close to the officer at all times. Many recalled how the duo was inseparable and she really did love him with all of her heart.
Both Rachel and her colleague were recently gunned down in a tragic incident while they were both performing their duties. The incident reportedly took place in the region of Western Downs as confirmed by local media outlets recently,
They were seen approaching a remote property while on duty and that’s when a trio of conspiracists ended up taking their lives by shooting both the officers dead.
Both police officers used to be stationed together at Dalby and who knew they would be killed at the same time on the same day and then be buried at the same time too?
The police force was seen paying its respects alongside other members of the community to gather to pay tribute and say one final goodbye to Rachel and her colleague that died in the line of duty.
As the casket carrying officer Rachel’s body was carried away in a car, her Archibald pooch stared in silence and many could feel his grieving pain and understand the emotions he may have been feeling.
