Macaulay Culkin was filmed breaking into tears as he delivered a powerful speech at the Hollywood Walk of Fame during his induction.
The 43-year-old Home Alone star reunited with his on-screen mother Catherine O’Hara as he received his well-earned star 33 years after his movie became the staple of Christmas television.
In his acceptance speech, Culkin visibly choked up as he thanked his supporters for standing by his side and paid tribute to his wife, Brenda Song.
“I’d like to thank Brenda. You are absolutely everything. You’re my champion. You’re the only person happier for me today than I am,” the former child star said.
“You’re not only the best woman I’ve ever known, you’re the best person I’ve ever known. You’ve given me all my purpose, you’ve given me family. And after the birth of our two boys, you’ve become one of my three favorite people. You’re somewhere in there. I Love you so much.”
Ending his speech in Home Alone style, the actor wished everyone a happy festive season as he quipped: “Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals.”
During the December 1 event, Culkin was seen proudly posing for photos with his wife and their two young sons Carson and Dakota.
In one picture, the 43-year-old is seen planting a sweet kiss on the head of his youngest son who was born sometime before Christmas 2022.
In another, he is smiling and embracing his wife while she’s carrying his 2-year-old lookalike son Dakota in her left arm.
Congratulations to Macaulay on his Walk of Fame star!
