Madonna has once again proved she ages in reverse as she showed off her ageless beauty at her sold-out concert in Manhattan.
The 65-year-old Queen of Pop took to Madison Square Garden to deliver a steamy performance in a scantily-clad outfit on Monday night, just days after she was sued for “false advertising” after performing two hours late at one of her concerts.
During her Monday night show, Madonna paid a tribute to her now-18-year-old daughter Chifundo ‘Mercy’ James Kambewa Ciccone who accompanied the singer as she sang her iconic 1992 song Bad Girl.
The singer also made most of the opportunity to show off her toned muscles and youthful spirit as she danced on the stage in a racy, lingerie-like costume.
This comes just five days after Jonathan Hadden and Michael Fellows filed a federal lawsuit against Madonna for being late to her December 13 concert in Brooklyn over sound check issues.
While her World Celebration Tour is now in full speed, the Like a Virgin hitmaker was forced to postpone it for months after nearly dying from a severe bacterial infection back in 2023.
“I was in the hospital. I was in the ICU. My lungs weren’t working, I wasn’t breathing on my own. My kidneys were failing. I was infected with some bacteria that nobody knows about. And there is a 40% mortality rate,” Madonna revealed during her Paris concert last November.
“When I woke up I saw all my children around me and I thought this is what will save me. My children will save me. It’s not me who saved them.”
The singer also explained that her recovery was a long and hard process and that she was without any strength for weeks after she was dismissed from the hospital.
“I didn’t have the strength. I had no energy, it was taken from me. So the two weeks went by and I still had barely any energy. I could drink espressos, four Red Bulls. Nothing woke me up. I had no life force,” she added.
