BREAKING: Rapper Magoo Has Passed Away At The Age Of 50


Tributes have begun pouring in for rapper Magoo after the musician passed away at the age of just 50.

The R&B star, whose real name was Melvin Barcliff, reportedly died on Sunday. The cause of death was not immediately revealed.

Magoo was best known for his partnership with rapper, record producer, and songwriter Timothy Mosley, a.k.a. Timbaland, with whom he formed a musical duo known as Timbaland and Magoo.

With their unique lyrical approach and passion for music, the pair managed to attract thousands of fans who enjoyed hits like All Y’all and Luv 2 Luv Ya.

After the news of the rapper’s death had spread on social media, fans and fellow artists rallied to pay Barcliff a tribute and remember his greatest achievements.

“I don’t even know how to say anything at this point, I have lost 3 friends now within a month to LIFE and it’s due date,” Singer Ginuwine wrote.

“This dude always pushed me … I will miss you maganooo that’s what we called him ….. totally one of the best ever in my eyes always pressing forward I know we didn’t talk a lot but the love was and will be always there my brotha. I will see you soon bro we all have our date and I’m expecting the bro hug when I get there.”

While rapper Mr. Dalvin branded Magoo as “such a good guy,” musician ORyan Omri Browner penned: “Rest in heaven Mag a nu.”

Paying the late performer a tribute were also countless fans who were left in shock over the sudden and unexpected news.

“It’s always someone you don’t expect that dies hurts way much worse,” one fan expressed.
