A couple is being trolled for their incredible weight difference and now they’re sharing their love story with the world.
Size 22 care worker Brittany Jacques met the love of her life at a gym. She claims that her ex-lover had dumped her due to her increasing weight. Therefore, she soon thought love and relationships were not for her and that’s when it all came down to one thing- moving on in life. But little did she know that she would find a man that shared the same goals and outlook in life as she did.
24-year-old Brittany revealed how she struggled with her self-confidence and how all of her previous partners always made fun of her and took her for granted. But that all changed after she met her fitness trainer and partner Matt Mongomery on Facebook.
The duo clicked away immediately. And they call it love at first sight. Now, the couple also had a baby and it’s definitely a unique story because they’re all set to tie the knot soon.
“He completes me in a manner that’s like no other. I love him for all that he is. He does not put pressure on me to lose weight because he says that my physique is what attracted him to me the most. I love it when a man loves you the way you are and not who they want you to be”-she continued.
But while the couple may be going strong, the negative comments they receive from trolls is incredibly sad. While some claim Matt is not man enough to love a woman that’s twice his size, others can’t help but bring the couple’s 117-pound weight difference into the equation.
“We are engaged and so in love but we just wish people would let it be and move on with their lives. It’s not easy seeing the amount of hate and body shaming that takes place in this world”- Brittany continued.
