The man named the person of interest in the missing Pittsburgh University Student case has now broken his silence on the matter.

He says that he’s being illegally detained in the Dominican Republic for no reason. Meanwhile, his family and friends are calling upon authorities to have him released and stop treating him like a suspect without any kind of evidence.

The news comes after he was the last person spotted with missing student Sudiksha Konanki during the early hours of the morning on Thursday.

She happened to be walking on the beach at the Riu Republica Resort in Punta Cana. The duo reportedly met at a bar and enjoyed talking on the beach when they were left alone by her friends so the pair could spend some alone time.

The man explained how it was pointless for him to be staying back for no reason when he was questioned for hours and no evidence was found against him.

He just remembers rescuing her from a giant wave and then he passed out. When he woke up, she was not there in the morning so he assumed that she had left.

 24-year-old Joshua Riibe mentioned how there were no charges filed against him so it does not make sense that he keeps being treated in this manner.
