Ruffalo’s health scare regarding the sudden diagnosis of a brain tumor definitely shook the world in more ways than one. But he chose to hide the scary news from his wife who happened to be pregnant at the time, in an effort to prevent her from getting any stress.

Clearly, those who have watched ‘The Hulk’ may have been impressed by the character as a whole but Ruffalo’s real-life persona is definitely very near to just that.

Yes, the actor clearly put on a strong face to go through such a major life-changing incident without his wife by his side because he ‘felt that he was going to die’ and he couldn’t imagine giving her that sort of pain.

As it is, the celeb had a very hard childhood. He battled with dyslexia and ADD. Moreover, he even battled with courage too, while growing up. But as he got older, he didn’t let anything bring him down to the ground and that’s why he chose to fight the disease till the end while protecting his wife and unborn child along the way.

The actor claims that he dreamt about having a brain tumor and that’s why he went to the doctor the next day to run a series of tests. And that’s when his nightmare came true.

“My tumor was below the ear, it was a frightening feeling,” he mentioned.

Mark did not want his wife to undergo any complications as it was her first pregnancy and she was scared as it is.

The star revealed all the details during an interview for Men’s Journal and that’s when the world saw a new side to Mark Ruffalo that they had never seen before.
