A car ended up crashing into a crowd full of people who were attending the yearly Christmas market.
This incident level several people injured including kids and a small baby.
The terrifying ordeal unfolded at the Christmas fair in Chipping Sodbury during lunch hour. It’s believed that the suspect was a male in his 80s who was trying to maneuver out of the parking lot.
This is when he suddenly lost full control of his vehicle and rammed right into the huge crowd of individuals.
This left a few people injured but the cops were quick to reassure the public that everything was under control and that no one attained any serious or life-threatening injuries.
One witness explained how they saw the whole ordeal flash before her eyes were she was standing with her pizza stall setup.
Speaking to BBC, she says they just were speaking about the clients in front of the van and then this happened.
The car was reportedly parked and then all of a sudden, it started to accelerate at fast speeds out of nowhere. That is when it started to ram into people’s standing.
One of the mothers had a child in the pushchair that was located in front of the vehicle. The male driver hit others in the back and that’s when sirens of the police and ambulances started to arise as panic and fear gripped the air.
