A TV personality has attacked Meghan Markle on live television by branding the Duchess of Sussex as “a woman at war with everyone”.
Sophie Elsworth, a media writer for the newspaper The Australian, told Sky News Australia how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were noticeably absent from Her Majesty’s Christmas Day speech.
However, Elsworth had many positive things to say about Kate Middleton and Her Majesty. It includes an analysis of The Queen’s speech and other Royal Family events over Christmas.
Elsworth showered Middleton in praise, lauding the Duchess of Cambridge for her “complete style and class” with her piano performance and in events in the run-up to Christmas.
But things appeared to take a turn when the TV host unloaded a barrage of heavy criticism at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
When asked whether Prince Harry and Meghan would be welcome around the Christmas table by the Queen, Elsworth claimed that they “would absolutely not” be. She went further in her analysis, noting that: “The Queen in her speech didn’t mention Meghan or Harry.”
She went on and mention Meghan’s court victory against the Mail on Sunday for publishing letters between her and her father, Thomas Markle.
She said: “Now she has had this court case that she has won against the newspaper… She has won this court case, this might be a win for Meghan!”
She then went on to accuse Meghan, saying “she is at war with everyone!” Elsworth alluded: “This woman falls out with everyone! She falls out with her best friends, her own father, her step-sister, her in-laws! I mean the list goes on and on!”
She also added how she “just wishes there was a day where I don’t have to hear about Meghan Markle.”
In previous statements, Meghan is also reportedly not too popular among Harry’s friends as some of his closest buddies are said to have admitted that she can be very difficult at times.
According to Robert Lacey, a royal expert, Harry’s friend says that: “Meghan can be a 500 percent nightmare. The never-ending PR. She’s just so . . . American!’”
He mentioned how supporters of the Sussexes are aware of the things Meghan does that don’t go down well with Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge.
Lacey writes: “Sussex supporters have noted the bizarre combination of self-promotion and self-pity that characterizes Meghan and can see why it has infuriated William.”
Lacey has also revealed some details about the warring brothers, Princes William and Prince Harry, as well as the role of the latter’s wife Meghan that has allegedly contributed to widening the gap between them.
In his recent books about the royals, Lacey claims that close friends of the siblings are working together to help reconcile the pair.
