While the world has long accepted that the marriage of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck is no more after the singer filed for divorce, new details regarding their troubled relationship continue to emerge.
Lopez tried her best to manage her partner’s bad mood for a long time, friends of the couple revealed.
The 55-year-old singer and actress who filed for divorce last week spent a lot of her time and effort trying to look after Ben as if he was her son. To many, it wouldn’t be wrong to claim that she acted like she was more his mother than a wife. He did not like that.
There were also reports about how Ben used to get so frustrated easily and ended up in a dark place, even though he had a beautiful and talented wife and three kids with his former wife.
Lopez spent so much of her time making sure Ben was happy and smiling at all times. He wished for it to stop and got irritated. Perhaps if she was not as demanding and controlling as a mother was, it could have worked out, insiders explained.
