Matthew Perry’s final social media post has surfaced after the actor’s sudden passing.
The Friends star, who was best known for portraying Chandler Bing on ten seasons of the NBC sitcom, died on Saturday at the age of 54 after drowning in a jacuzzi at his LA home.
It was later revealed that paramedics were called to the actor’s home after reports of a cardiac arrest. It was also claimed that foul play and/or substance abuse were not suspected to play a role in Perry’s death.
After the iconic comedian’s passing, tributes have begun pouring in.
Meanwhile, Matt’s final social media post was revealed.
Just five days before his death, the actor posted a picture of himself relaxing in a jacuzzi at night with city lights visible in the background.
In the haunting photo, Perry is seen sitting in the water on the edge of the jacuzzi while wearing headphones.
Along with the picture, the 54-year-old wrote: “Oh, so warm water swirling around makes you feel good? I’m Mattman.”
The moniker Mattman is a nickname Perry had recently begun using in his social media posts along with images and depictions related to the Batman franchise.
“Do you understand what I’m trying to tell you? – I’m Mattman,” he captioned another recent clip showing the moon in the night sky.
“Do you know what I mean?” he wrote as he shared a picture of a Halloween pumpkin with a Batman symbol carved in.
While the ‘Mattman’ theme became the main topic of his newer posts, the actor on October 15 surprised his fans as he shared a rare photo of him and his father.
“Here is me, and my father John, both holding a beverage,” he captioned the post.
Our thoughts remain with Matthew’s fans and loved ones during this challenging time.
