Relationships are never easy and when you’re dating someone that your parents may not approve of, things tend to get really messy.
This next incident about a teenager dating a woman who is a decade older has netizens confused. According to him, his parents have opted to cut him out after this.
As it is, getting into a relationship during your teenage years is never easy. You’ve got to deal with the pressure of attaining good grades, dealing with hormonal issues, getting a good job, and making some leading decisions about the future.
So this young man managed to find love in a woman who was much other than. To be more specific, she’s ten years older.
While age may just be a number for him, it’s the complete opposite for others and that includes his parents. They feel he is too young to be in a relationship at this stage of his life.
And if that was not enough, dating a woman who was much older was striking, to say the least. Therefore, they expressed their great dismay at the situation.
Having a serious conversation with him, they told him how this was not okay and he had to leave her if he wished to stay in this home any longer.
They felt he was too young for this and the woman was too mature for their liking. And no matter how much he tried to justify her greatness, they just weren’t interested.
The parents mentioned how they may be coming off as overbearing to their son but they had the experience years to know that what he was doing was just not right. And in their home, living and eating, and drinking all has to be done under their rules.
After all, they are the ones who are paying for it and supporting him financially until he attains a job. But the teen says he adores his lover and would do anything for her. But that’s clearly not happening with his parents being involved.
