One Paralympian’s story has gone viral after she was stripped of her gold media for some very bizarre reasons.
Many fans called out the recent Paris Olympics committee for making decisions that they did not agree with and this happens to be just one.
Roza Kozakowska spoke about winning gold and silver in the Club Throw at the last Paralympics held in Tokyo in 2020 and that’s why she was more pumped up than ever.
Now, the Polish athlete arrived in Paris ready to make heads turn but that didn’t happen.
Despite working so hard and throwing an astounding 31.3 meters in her first attempt in Paris, she still didn’t keep her medal.
This was a massive win for her as she broke her previous record of 28.77 meters which was set in June.
Sadly, while she may have thought that was enough to break her world record, it was not the case and her celebration was very short-lived. As reported by the Daily Mail, a protest ensued by the rival team from Brazil.
They felt it was not fair that she was allowed to rest her head against a giant pillow that supported her head in the chair. They added it was not a part of the regulations and the judges reviewed that and agreed.
