Royal fans are not happy with Meghan Markle’s behavior during her recent unveiling of the bombshell documentary featuring Harry and herself.
The Duchess of Sussex did detail her first meeting with the Queen and the way she was seen behaving and speaking about Her Majesty has made fans upset, sources claim.
Many people from all over the globe glued their backsides to the chair and began watching the documentary with great enthusiasm. And while there were some highlights, some pieces were clear disappointments and this might be one of them.
This particular scene that we are referring to features Harry and Meghan sitting down and recalling the exact moment that Meghan met Harry’s grandmother for the first time.
This happened to be in the year 2016. And that is when Meghan was seen detailing how she was not prepared to meet the monarch and was not aware it would be happening so soon, until shortly before.
“My grandmother was the first senior member of the family that Meghan met”- Harry started to explain on the show. “She had zero ideas what it all comprised of. So it was definitely a huge shocker to the system for her”- she continued.
Harry says that Meghan met the Queen as the first ever senior member hailing from the Royal family. And that’s why it was just a nerve-racking experience for her in its entirety.
“It was a bit of a shock system for her”- the Duke of Sussex mentioned.
The offensive part was when the couple was in the car and were on their way to the Palace to meet Her Majesty. And Harry asked Meghan if she knew how to curtsy and his wife literally thought that was a joke.
In reality, it was not. Meghan compared it to Medieval Times and says that she was taken aback by the whole moment. She felt uncomfortable at first as most Americans couldn’t relate and that’s the part people did not like.
