Meghan and Harry have surprised their fans by sharing a brand-new photo of their daughter Lilibet.
To mark her first birthday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex released a picture showing little Lilibet playing in the garden at Frogmore Cottage.
The photo was taken during the Platinum Jubilee prior to the family’s return to the United States.
According to the reports, Meghan and Harry held a small garden party at Windsor estate to mark their daughter’s first birthday on Saturday.
In the photo, little Lilibet is seen showing off her cheeky smile and the reddish locks she had inherited from her dad. She is seen wearing a blue frock and a white bow.
Soon enough, the photo went viral with people comparing it to the picture of Prince Harry when he was just one year old.
In Harry’s old photo, the little prince can be seen wearing a similar facial expression as Lilibet while showing off his iconic golden-reddish locks.
Lilibet’s most-recent photo was taken by Harry and Meghan’s friend, Misan Harriman, who attended the birthday bash together with his wife and their children.
In another photo from the Saturday event, Meghan can be seen cradling her daughter while standing next to Misan’s wife, Camilla Holmstroem, and her two children.
It is believed that several members of the royal family also attended the birthday party.
As for the Queen, she reportedly met her namesake during the jubilee celebrations either sometime on Thursday or Friday.
Meghan and Harry have since left the UK and returned to their life in the States. It is believed they left before the end of the celebrations and missed the Queen’s Sunday balcony appearance.
