Iconic singer Sir Elton John was seen sharing a very touching message that he would like to have written on his gravestone.
The news comes after the music legend’s confirmation about his poor health condition.
The 77-year-old shared how he’s lost vision in both of his eyes and also revealed how his days are numbered.
He then opened up about how he wished to be remembered by the world in terms of his role as a father.
Elton shares his children with film producer husband David Furnish and therefore he made it public that he would like to be remembered as a ‘great dad’ because that’s how much his children mean to him in this world.
The star mentioned during the People Magazine event in New York City how grateful he is to have so much love and support from fans around the globe.
Many were emotional at the event as the pain and emotional speech left some in tears.
Elton expressed the same sentiments in another one of his appearances at the Good Morning America with Robin Roberts which aired on the same night.
‘My legacy is that I was a great husband and an even better father… The music, the career, and everything else were fantastic. It was just so fantastic and mind-blowing’- he continued.
