32-year-old David Stevenson says he is not quite sure what he has done in his life to be treated in this manner but he’s getting real tired of the way his so-called partners are behaving with him.
Recently, David took out some time to share his dilemma and how he’s gotten stood out not once but twice by his girlfriends.
According to him, he traveled twice from Spain to the United Kingdom so that he could meet his girlfriend. And on both occasions, she decided to stand him up.
The duration of travel from Nottingham to Spain is not short, not to mention the added costs and stress related to international travel. But to make sure things worked and went in his favor, this man was willing to do everything. But now, he’s getting really tired of his relationships because nothing seems to be working out.
The former Apprentice star says he and his lover had developed some mutual feelings for each other. And after the couple spoke to one another through text messages and a series of phone calls, they opted to meet in the UK.
The meeting went well and that’s when David thought it would be interesting to meet her in Spain because that’s how far he was willing to go to prove his love.
However, the couple’s meeting did not go quite according to plan and she failed to show up at the airport to receive him. And when he called her up to see what the matter was, she refused to pick up the phone. In addition to that, there were no replies to any text messages too.
After the incident, David put up his story on TikTok and that’s when another woman approached him. She stated how she loved his story and would love to meet him in Spain because she felt bad, and thought he was a great guy.
Making his way back to Spain with high hopes, he was again stood up for the second time. And that’s when people told him he was putting in way too much effort for women that barely knew him. After all, being burned by the same flame twice should be enough to teach you a lesson.
