Miley Cyrus’s alleged stalker has been arrested after breaking a court order by visiting the actress’s home in Los Angeles.
52-year-old Alexander Karddalian was apprehended by the police on Friday morning shortly after arriving at the 31-year-old Hollywood star’s home with a gift.
According to the reports, the stalker wanted to present Miley with a stuffed animal just months after she was granted court-ordered protection from the same man.
Sources from law enforcement also confirmed that the man was found and apprehended at around 1 am.
Miley was at home at the time of the incident. The stalker, however, did not manage to get in touch with the singer-songwriter as he was detained by her security detail before he could get inside her home.
The scary encounter comes just months after Cyrus was granted a protection order against Karddalian who visited her home in September 2023 just days after he was released from jail.
In court documents, the performer also confirmed the stalker had been sending her letters confirming his obsession with her.
Prior to the September 2023 incident, Karddalian allegedly visited the actress at her home numerous times including two unwarranted occasions in the summer of 2022.
In one of his letters, Karddalian reportedly threatened to visit Cyrus at her home as soon as he got out of prison.
In another, he claimed he “doesn’t give a f*** if he lives” if she refused to respond to his letters.
According to Miley’s court filings, the stalker appears to be dealing with “severe mental health challenges” while suffering from a “dangerous fixation and obsession” about the singer.
