Two love birds recently tied the knot on Ukraine’s frontlines, dressed in their military uniforms.
Viral footage is currently making the rounds on social media where the loving couple can be seen with their big and beaming smiles.
The newlywed couple was then serenaded by a line of soldiers on the Ukrainian frontline, explained sources.
In the video that was recently shared online, the loved-up duo can be seen celebrating their big day, despite the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian conflict taking place.
The couple was identified as Lesya and Valeriy that have been posted on the territorial defense side of Ukraine’s armed forces for the ongoing battle.
For many, it was certainly an absolute delight to witness during these testing times of war as very little if any good news or glad tidings could be witnessed. Therefore, many were quick to pass on their congratulatory wishes to the couple after they celebrated their nuptials amid great tension.
In the beautiful video capture, the bride is seen holding a giant bouquet of flowers as she and her partner hold champagne flutes.
Both members of the couple were applauded and the bride could be seen swapping out her giant helmet for a classic white veil.
Still, the couple manages to steal so many hearts as they’re applauded across the board for acting as normal as possible, despite being posted on the frontlines.
The newlyweds smile as they gaze intensely into each other’s eyes while smiling.
In the background, a small group of fellow soldiers could be witnessed cheering them on as this is probably a much-needed break before they all go back to their positions as the threat of Russian strikes by air, land, and the sea continues to loom at any given moment in time.
