Minnie Driver is remembering her close friend Matthew Perry and what a great impact the star had on her life.
The news has left fans again on the verge of tears, just days after his autopsy results made some heartbreaking findings. This had to do with how the Friends star had so much ketamine inside his system that was the equivalent of what was seen in surgical patients.
Driver and Perry were said to be great friends and colleagues. They both made appearances together in the 2003 production of the hit film Sexual Perversity in Chicago. Moreover, he was said to have been in a great place when they were both doing the play together.
The news of the star’s death left her numb and in shock. She, like the rest of the world, just found it hard to digest. And now, she’s breaking her silence on what she felt he struggled with the most.
She began by rolling out a very heartfelt obituary that was polished by The Guardian.
Moreover, the Good Will Hunting Actress explained how he was one of the fastest people that anyone could ever come across via a chat.
It made her realize so much including how he was so positive about life, but she did come to know about his inner battles along the way too.“He was like a light to me. He was just one of those individuals who lit up the place and had people smiling, and this was all true while he suffered in silence. It’s rare to find people that make others laugh and feel so good. He was one of those”- she added.
She did add some humor including how he would never allow anyone to get away from anything. But he was never mean and the most genuine. While he did enjoy his job of acting, the Friends show just did not give him the sort of contentment he was looking for, she added and called it such a tragedy
