A man from Minnesota ended up taking the life of a young teen by mistake when his intention was to kill his mother instead.

Sources from local media outlets were quick to detail more about the ordeal and how the man missed his target of stabbing his girlfriend during a tragic domestic abuse incident.

Isac Hoff died a painful death when he saw how his mother’s boyfriend had viciously arrived to attack her. He did everything in his power to prevent that.

But little did he know that he would be killed along the way, despite doing nothing wrong. Sources revealed how his mother and her partner got into an argument that just took a turn for the worst.

The man was immediately arrested for the murder and has since then pleaded guilty to stabbing his girlfriend’s 13-year-old son.

He says that he let his short temper get the best of him. And before he knew it, he tragically killed her son who was not supposed to be his target. “It was a mistake but that justification was just not good enough and he was sent to jail on charges related to second-degree murder.

A criminal complaint detailed more about the incident and how the man arrived at the victim’s mom’s home and started to bicker with her about something.

The fight took a turn for the worse and he started to assault her. The loud screams and crying noises of the mom did not go unnoticed by her son. So he rushed in to save her.

The duo had reportedly been dating for the past month. And the suspect had only recently decided to move into her home. But little did anyone know that he would end up tearing her family apart after his arrival.
