Misrach is 20 years old and has a light complexion, brown eyes, and dark hair. She is 5” 4’ tall and weighs around 130 pounds.

It is believed that the missing student hasn’t made contact with her family or friends ever since she disappeared.

Meanwhile, her brother claimed that her phone, which was sharing her location with another family member, last pinged at an off-campus New Jersey housing complex at 3.27 am.

That’s when the phone was turned off and the family’s link to the student was lost.

While the police have since searched the area and questioned some of the residents, they couldn’t search houses in the area due to a lack of a warrant.

“It’s very unlike her to turn off her phone, kids these days don’t turn off their phones, they love their phones,” Misrach’s brother, Universe Equnetie, told The Sun.

Speaking out about the mysterious disappearance, another junior student, Laura Esguerra, said the tragic news serves as a reminder to students to look after one another.

“Obviously it’s heartbreaking. It hurts, it really does… hopefully she’ll be back safe,” she told PIX 11.

“It’s a good reminder we have to watch out for each other and we have to make sure to check on her friends especially after midterms.”

The distressed student added: “It’s a hard week, it’s a hard time for everyone mentally and physically.

“I truly hope it doesn’t come down to that, but it is a good reminder to check in on your friends after a hard week.”
