One woman says she had the worst heartbreak of her life, not to mention a wake-up call when her fiance opted to cheat on her. Taking her by complete surprise, he decided to take his mistress on the honeymoon that he had promised her, and that was just not cool.
After following him and tracking down his whereabouts, she was horrified and decided to confront him. He did accept but said it was a mistake and that he would never hurt her intentionally.
He called his mistress out and tried to dump the blame on her too. Acting all naive, he wants her back and says he would like to make things better. Now, she’s really confused.
Knowing him for years and falling in love with him had made her idealize the perfect future. But what she failed to understand was how and why he would break her heart, despite her doing nothing wrong.
She says she’s pretty, smart, and also has a great career. But when it comes to him, she gets weak and can never think about leaving him. This puts her in a very vulnerable situation and she’s not liking it one bit.
“We’ve been together for eight long years. We know so much about each other and I could never imagine a life without him by my side. I don’t know why he did it but I feel that leaving him would make me lonely again and I don’t want that”- she mentioned through an anonymous post on Reddit.
Asking for other people’s opinions on the platform, she wants to know if moving on without him would be a good decision or perhaps forgiving him is the right way to go about the situation. What do you think?
