While you may have come across a series of bizarre stories regarding tattoo fanatics, we bet nothing beats this extreme.
The woman who reportedly went blind after getting her eyeballs inked is sharing how good it felt to have the needle working against her body.
Despite suffering the shocking after-effect of having her face tattooed, 26-year-old Sarah Sabbath reveals how she is addicted to ink and that’s why it can be seen covering her face, legs, arms, torso, eyes, and bum. Moreover, she refers to it as her creative outlet, being a tattoo artist herself.
In addition to body art, the model also went on to state how she’s got plenty of other work done on her face which includes rhinoplasty, scarification, and piercings like dermal, labret, and some on her nose as well.
The tattoo fanatic who hails from Texas shed light on what exactly went wrong from her scary experience of going blind after getting her eyes inked. And that’s when she opted to undergo the super dangerous procedure of scleral tattooing where the ink was injected underneath her eye’s top layer.
These types of procedures are never recommended as they can cause total loss of vision.
In Sarah’s case, the artist performing the procedure failed to add enough saline solution and that meant too much ink was injected at one time. And for that reason, she went blind but thankfully, it was temporary.
“I had such a hard time doing anything. I couldn’t watch television, and I hated being around bright lights or going outside,” she added.
The entire procedure took a drastic toll on her, where she claims to have suffered the most severe form of depression too. But if you think that would be enough to make her stay away from tattoos, you might need to think again!
“I love art and tattoos interest me a lot. I just can’t stay away from them,” she went on to explain.
