A mother of three has sparked major backlash after refusing to switch her seat.
According to reports from major news outlets, the mom refused to switch with another mom who said it was for her toddler’s sake. But the news has left netizens divided as some did not agree with being selfish while others saw the reality as something else.
Traveling is never easy when you’re surrounded by nagging passengers. While some take flights to relax, others are bombarded with unruly individuals who can’t help but make you feel guilty around them.
This next story has plenty of people talking. It has to do with the mere fact that one woman named Tammy chose to put her needs and preferences before any others. And it’s driving people wild.
She booked a window seat on the flight and to her surprise and dismay, when she got on the plane, there was another individual in her seat. Interestingly, her kids were seated near the window side that Tammy had booked. So that mom assumed she could just randomly switch seats willingly.
Tammy was very open to switching seats with the mother, as long as the window option was present. She mentioned how she needed that certain kind of seat because she attains motion sickness while taking off and during landing.
She said the window seat also helps her sleep better as well. But the seat she had was not a window but the one in the middle, right in the row behind.
“I told her to stick to this seat because she was the one who picked it. There was no point in changing it now”- she added. And that did not leave the mom happy. She was upset and called out Tammy for the act, making a huge deal out of the matter.
The fellow mom mentioned that this is just unacceptable because a little help goes a long way, not to mention can impact a person’s entire journey. But Tammy disagreed, adding how she needed a seat that was in line with her requirements and therefore couldn’t sacrifice much for the sake of others. What do you think?
