A six-year-old child was attacked by his own home’s pit bull after his cruel mother decided to punish him.
According to reports by local media outlets, the boy was living with his mother and her boyfriend but little did anyone know that they would be the ones turning on him.
To punish him, the mother decided to cuff his hands and feet but little did she realize the dangerous consequences related to her actions.
Angelina Williams was arrested with her lover on separate charges linked to endangering the child and enabling him to be more vulnerable to attack by the house dog.
The mother is also accused of tampering with evidence to prove her innocence. Police spoke about responding to a 911 emergency call that a dog bit the six-year-old child on the neck and ear and since he couldn’t move, he became an easy target and victim of death by the animal.
The boy was rushed to a nearby hospital to get immediate medical attention and his condition was described as very serious when he arrived by medical staff.
The mother tried to defend herself by claiming she was not aware that handcuffing a young child was against the law and said she was only trying to teach her child a harmless lesson. The mother says she takes full responsibility and is ashamed that this was the outcome of her actions.
