A terrifying moment was recently caught on film showing the exact moment when a huge explosion struck a chocolate factory in Pennsylvania.
According to reports from local media outlets, the impact of the explosion was huge and now authorities are fearing more casualties.
Sources from local media outlets have confirmed that at least two people have been killed in the tragedy so far. Moreover, they even mentioned that at least eight others have been injured. Furthermore, nine more workers are deemed to be missing as the rescue operation began moments after the terrifying sound of the blast was heard.
Terrifying video footage is now going viral. It features, wood, glass, dust, and debris moving in all directions and flying in the air.
Therefore, the authorities were seen shutting the area down, which is outlined to be West Reading in Pennsylvania. They feared it to be a major health hazard and therefore, it was deemed best if shut as so much debris was witnessed moving upward.
The company was outlined to be the R.M. Palmer Company. And this particular candy business was designated as famous for years as it stepped foot in the candy-making business in the year 1948.
At the moment, the incident is currently under investigation as sources are trying to find clues as to what may have resulted in such a mighty explosion taking place.
The explosion is reported to have taken place shortly before the clock struck 5 pm. And that left a lot of running in fear after seeing horrifying visuals arise.
Witnesses claim to have seen huge plumes of dark black smoke fill the air. In the same way, they claim the damage was done to two other buildings in the vicinity.
And they were both designated to be residential apartments.
