A TikTok mom is coming under fire for doing the unthinkable.
She chose to film herself while unplugging her child’s baby monitor which left viewers horrified.
The child who is premature and admitted to the NICU was said to be under close monitoring but the mother just felt the need to put her hunger pangs before her child.
She explained how food was calling and she needed to grab a quick turkey sandwich. Allie Rae was slammed online and faced so much scrutiny from fellow social media users over the bizarre and unjustified act.
She could be seen filming herself unplugging the monitor in order to summon a nurse to her bedside, only because she was hungry.
The live-streamed video had her speaking to the audience and telling them how she was so hungry and needed to get a turkey sandwich. Since they keep the sandwiches in the fridges out there, she had to take matters into her own hands.
Think along the lines of grabbing the cable, unplugging the monitor, and then when the nurse attends to her call, she simply explains, ‘No, no, you’re fine!’- and puts the cord back in. She says it’s no emergency but wanted to see if the nurse could get her a cold turkey sandwich.
On that note, the nurse says that she cannot attend to that request but suggests the new mom take a break.
