A mother has stirred up a new debate online when she spoke about not allowing her son’s friends over due to their huge appetite.

The news left many people in shock while others felt this was uncalled for. But the mom opted to defend her side of the story and hoped people could relate to where she came from.

The mother began by mentioning how it’s super bizarre for a child to not have enough manners to eat in limited quantities when being a guest.

But netizens were baffled as they reminded her that children are children and nothing can be more honest and pure than them. But she refused to accept it, adding how this child who happens to be her son’s best friend was a lot to handle.

The mother added how appalled she became because she still refused to tell the child anything until one incident made her realize that it was time to ban him from coming over.

The child was bold enough to tell the mom that the only reason he opted to come over for sleepovers was linked to the fact that she served the best food including ordering the best pizza out there.

The baffled mother was in shock. Seeing a child so young admit wholeheartedly that the mother’s son was not the real reason for his visit but the food made her upset.

“I just did not know how to react. Who does this? I mean, this is very upsetting for obvious reasons. All this time I tolerated him eating extra, assuming he was so friendly and nice to my child. But he confirmed how the friendship was not great but the food was”- she added.

Now the mom has opted to ban the child from coming over, be it a sleepover or not. She feels that no one is welcome inside with a frame of mind like that.

She is even contemplating whether or not she should confront his parents when they come over to pick him up. What do you think?
