Billie Eilish is not in the mood to keep any friendships in the industry and this was proven last night when she chose to drag some leading names from showbiz and accuse them.
Eilish mentioned how it’s not okay for big music stars to roll out multiple versions of their albums and therefore take part in the act of wasteful packaging.
The celeb was seen speaking about how these kinds of sales tactics were not appreciated one bit and that there was a greater need to promote activities like sustainability inside the industry.
The star has been an advocate for a greener environment and is also known to speak her mind but seeing her take the name of Taylor Swift and hold her accountable for the act didn’t come as something inviting by Swift’s very loyal fanbase.
The leading hitmaker felt it was time for Swift and others to realize that every action would have consequences and that the last thing the world needs is more plastic. “She needs to think about the vinyl covers that might make her more money but the cost of doing so is much more than that”- Eilish explained while slamming the star.
The news was published as a part of an interview carried out by Billboard on Thursday where she says she will never remain silent on matters like these.
