Speaking about her dismay on the subject through Reddit, the mom explained how baffled she became when she was called out by others in real life regarding her baby’s name. The type of comments she received was not only baffling but beyond heartbreaking, not to mention offensive.
People telling her that the child’s name sounded more like a serial killer than anyone else had her in absolute silence. This is not what anyone would ever wish to hear, right?
Speaking more on the subject, the mom mentioned how the negative feedback kept on coming in her direction. But she refuses to take it with positivity and has instead called out all of those who keep telling her the same thing.
Be it her loved ones or close friends, she’s now afraid to take her child’s name in public because all she gets is criticism or suggestions for an immediate name change.
The couple named him Carver and the family’s initial reaction was not a good one. Therefore, they thought why not change the C to a K that should do the trick. But even after that, the name is not a popular one with listeners who feel it gives creepy vibes.
Others admitted how they would hate their parents for life for coming up with something like this.
Therefore, the mom opted to take the opinions of strangers online through a poll. She went anonymous and 80% disliked it and gave feedback of it being eerie. Therefore, the mom is in a state of a dilemma as months have gone by but she is not happy.
