USC basketball commit and son of former NBA star Gilbert Arenas has reportedly been placed into an induced coma after a dangerous car crash.
The 18-year-old star was rushed to a nearby hospital in Los Angeles after crashing his giant Tesla Cybertruck into a fire hydrant, which left the vehicle completely mangled on the side of the road in what was called a fiery wreck.
Shocking reports shared how the vehicle was on fire when emergency responders were seen rushing to the scene at about 4:55 am. This is where Arenas was taken from the scene in a serious condition.
Details related to this crash are still emerging as we speak. The star was a five-star college prospect from Chatsworth High School in California. He had committed to the Trojans in January for the 2025 to 2026 season.
Details regarding the crash are still emerging. A six-foot shooting guard is called out as a scoring threat who is still growing, as per 247 Sports. This predicts a major long-term potential for the teen star.
He also got so many offers from Arizona despite being so young. He even managed to ink a sponsorship deal with Adidas.
Loved ones and friends are requesting others to pray for his speedy recovery during this moment in time.
