One woman has reportedly left the world stunned after making some startling claims on national television.
In case you did not know, most health experts advise frequent washing of beddings to prevent the spread of germs. But one woman says she can’t be bothered and is more interested in preserving her historic home.
While some people may be big on hygiene and making sure the place they’re living is squeaky clean, that might not be the case with so many others.
Sources from local media outlets were seen speaking about how this older woman has never washed her bedding or her mattress. And she’s proud of it, claiming that it does not affect her in any way, shape, or form.
Cornelia Bayley explained on her recent public appearance where she headed to the show called Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners to reveal some startling confessions. And it’s safe to say that the audiences watching were stunned and at a complete loss for words.
The woman explained how her house dates back to the 17th century and is located in the northern part of Wales. The house is a huge 10-bedroom estate and so far, she’s in love with it and does not wish to alter even one thing located inside.
She has reportedly spent tens of thousands of pounds to ensure it remains in the current state that it is in. And that means not making any revamp to the age-old estate.
“I just don’t get the purpose of altering things over here. I love it the way it is, the mattress has been used by so many and no one has cleaned it afterward. It’s part of the fun”- she went on to explain.
It was literally a nightmare come true for the hosts of the show. They just could not believe what was in front of them. “Cornelia, when was the last time this was washed?” And the answer was, never! Their expressions really did say it all.
