Disney’s new movie “Death on the Nile” has reportedly been banned by Kuwait for featuring leading actress Gal Gadot from Israel.
Kuwait has boldly declared how it will not allow any screenings for the movie to occur in the country for the film’s adaptation of Agatha Christie’s Death on the Nile citing the inclusion of actress Gal Gadot.
But this is certainly not the first time that the country has taken such serious measures against a movie as it was previously noted for banning the actress’s Wonder Woman film too.
A leading newspaper in Kuwait called Al-Qabas was the first to break the news regarding the film’s ban, right after demands for the decision began to grow on social media.
Moreover, one official in the country also revealed how Kuwait certainly had zero intentions to allow a movie starring one former soldier in the Zionist occupying armed forces.
Gadot who also holds the title of being a former Miss Israel was forced to undergo her mandatory military service of two years in Israel, right before she made the decision to begin her acting career.
But social media users slammed all the praise she received for her service and also for the way she criticized Hamas during the war with Gaza that took place in the year 2014.
That particular war left nearly 2251 people dead on the side of Palestine and the majority of fatalities encountered included civilians. However, the Israeli casualties mounted up to 74, which mostly included soldiers.
During the war, Gadot praised the stance of Israel’s military forces and even sent out her thoughts and prayers with the side for risking their lives and protecting the nation against the horrifying acts that came as a result of the Hamas.
Kuwait has been a leading supporter of Palestine and has always raised its voice against Israel.
