A pregnant upstate New York teacher has tragically died after collapsing inside her classroom.
According to reports from local media outlets, she was said to be just a few weeks away from having her first child. And her parents state she was so excited.
The teacher Courtney Fannon was said to be a special education teacher at the Kendral Central School that’s present in the rural community. This is located just 30 miles away from the northwest of Rochester. She was found unresponsive inside her classroom during the later hours of Friday as reported by USA Today.
She collapsed a short while after sending her partner a message from her phone but it’s yet to be revealed what that message entailed.
Fannon was then rushed by emergency responders to a nearby hospital where doctors tried to save her and her unborn child. But they were unsuccessful and she died in the end. The family has broken the silence on how they are coming to terms with this terrifying discovery.
