Michelle Obama wished the internet a very Happy New Year 2022 while sending out much love via a very cool post.
The wish came in the form of an image of Mrs. Obama posing alongside her ‘boo’ Barack Obama. And it’s safe to say that the internet has fallen in love with the couple, all over again.
The former First Lady of the US ringed in the new year with sheer joy as she posed in festive attire and plenty of props, not to mention her hands wrapped around her husband who stood by.
Moreover, the best-selling author was also quite quick to mention to her followers that she wished them nothing but the best as many adored the festive post that’s breaking the internet around the globe.
As you all may be well aware, the Obamas are deeply loved by not only Americans by global citizens. And for many, it was the caption that stole so many people’s hearts on New Year’s Day.
In the image, Michelle and Barack can be seen posing for the camera as they don star-shaped eye masks that are truly fit for a party. The masks feature 2022 on them.
“Happy New Year from me and my boo!”- the beautiful post mentioned, along with, “Wishing you all a year full of happiness, love, and good health,” she added.
Michelle could be seen donning a fitted black-toned blouse which she chose to pair with a matching mini-length bottom and a very statement-making embroidered jacket too. Clearly, the outfits were very fun and festive, something we’re not quite used to seeing from the former First Lady herself.
But let’s not forget about Barack Obama who could be seen smiling away in a printed grey-toned shirt, which he chose to pair with a pair of trousers and a classic watch and sneakers too.
