A heartbroken mother is shedding light on how her daughter was reportedly mauled by a pair of giant pit bulls that has left her in a debilitated state.
The mom mentioned how her child had only gone to visit the puppies but little was she aware of the devastations and tragedy that lay before her.
A 10-year-old girl was brutally attacked in the most tragic and heartbreaking circumstances imaginable. The child was said to have flesh hanging from her body. The mother Kimberly Boeckler who is 31 explained how she happened to be waiting for her daughter Reagan who was all set to come back from her playdate.
She learned about the horrifying incident and just became numb as her mind could not accept the severity of the situation. “She was covered in blood, her skin was hanging. It was like my worst nightmare had come to life”- she continued.
The mother shed light on how her daughter was a true pitbull lover. And when she found out about how her child was torn into pieces after seeing her favorite animal in the mother, she was heartbroken.
The family had their dog but after learning about the pitbull delivering babies, they were just so excited. Her daughter begged her mother to go and see and she allowed her. She even requested her to take pictures so they could share the news at home. But little did anyone know about the tragedy that would ensue.
Shortly before her daughter Raegan was ready to come home, she called her to see what was going on. And all she could hear were dreadful screams in the background.
That is when her friend informed the mother that the pet had attacked her child and that she needed to call emergency services as the situation had gotten really out of hand.
The mother mentioned how it was at that moment that she felt like her soul left her body. She was overcome with fear, grief, anger, and more.
Doctors rushed to save the child’s life who is now said to be in a critical condition inside a hospital. She has undergone extensive surgery and one of the wounds has also become infected. Doctors claim it’s going to be a long and challenging road ahead but they are hopeful the brave young girl will make it through each phase.
