Elon Musk is known for his witty replies and comments on Twitter but it now appears the billionaire may have gone one step too far after posting a poop emoji on CEO Parag Agrawal’s thread recently.
The world’s richest man made headlines a few weeks back when he announced how keen he was on taking over the mega social network Twitter. But the deal didn’t come easy as the billionaire faced plenty of hurdles along the way.
The decision was given to Twitter’s board to handle the matter but little did anyone realize that the Tesla owner would get the green signal to move ahead with his plans.
In the end, we saw the transition deal finalize and become a $44 billion affair and it’s safe to say many were worried about how the company would now function with the billionaire in charge.
Musk promised to bring back freedom of speech, combat bots and spam accounts, and even introduce a range of exciting products that he felt would be in the company’s best interest. Moerover, we even saw Musk go the extra mile and speak of unblocking Donald Trump.
But then, the drama continued when it was soon revealed how Elon Musk was not ready to pay out such a huge sum of money because of a number of reservations he had about the company. This includes how Musk and his team members felt they were not given accurate figures about the number of fake or spam accounts that the company had.
According to CEO Agrawal, all the figures were carefully calculated and checked. According to him, the spam figures are less than 5% but Musk claims that is far from the truth and has even invited his followers to come forward and check to see if that’s true.
After incidents like these, it’s quite obvious that the transition of taking over Twitter by Elon Musk is still very much in the air. Whether or not the deal pulls through, well, only time can tell.
