President Trump was seen insisting on Sunday that there will be no exemptions in the tariffs after there was some misunderstanding when it came down to electronics.
Trump reiterated his plans, adding how nobody would be getting off the hook for the unfair trade balances and non-monetary tariff barriers that other nations have used against the US.

He took special time to emphasize how China would be dealt with the strictest, which Trump says is treating the US the worst right now.
The president shared his opinions through the Truth Social application.
A notice was shared later on Friday where he spoke about gadgets and how that would be avoided with a 125% import tax on Chinese goods.
This includes mobile phones and computer chips that would be exempted. However, other electronic items would need to pay the price of this new order that would be coming into play.

Some speculations were shared online about how there was no chance of any exemption coming into play and that the administration is right now looking closely at the semiconductors and the entire electronics supply chain in the upcoming National Security Tariff investigations.
