Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner will now be attending mediation to help work out their ugly divorce battle featuring the messy custody ordeal.
As per an article published in The Post, lawyers for the estranged couple were quick to mention how the duo made their way to a federal court on Tuesday and that’s where they underwent a pretrial conference.
At this point in time, the judge had been informed about how they were both doing their absolute best in terms of solving the ugly battle and for that, they were willing to go through mediation for a whopping four-day period, starting this week.
Their attorneys also confirmed how they hoped the former pair would resolve plenty of issues regarding the split and that meant rolling out an effective parenting plan for the two daughters.
Turner is right now in the midst of suing Joe Jonas for the return of her children who she believes belong in their forever home in England. And she’s got plenty of evidence available including a letter where Jonas admitted that he was keen on the idea of having the family home in the country.
But the duo’s attorney mentioned during that particular hearing how Joe Jonas is now keen on the idea of a 50-50 joint custody. Moreover, he further assured the judge about how both parties were seeing the kids in a very unfettered manner, despite a massive and bitter breakup taking place.
Sophie Turner’s legal case mentioned how she was keen on moving the family across a pond after opting to file for divorce on the second of September.
The leading star from Game of Thrones added how Joe Jonas was withholding the children’s passports to stop them from leaving the country, and he did confirm that news later on to be true.
